• Development and implementing a safety strategy during the turnkey project from commencement through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Development and implementation of procedures including preparing all HSE project plans, risk assessments and safety related protocols to ensure compliance.
• Creating and reviewing of all project RAMS (Risk assessment / Method statement), HSE / quality plans and permits.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensure measures to control risks are implemented and monitored.
• Monitoring and development of all high risk activities to improve the project safety strategy.
• Controlling and monitoring compliance with the current laws and regulations related to health, safety, welfare and the environment through daily inspections, site walks and audits.
• Supporting of safety auditing processes across the project through.
• Supporting and involvement in project meetings, training workshops, daily activity briefings and management reviews.
• Providing of reports and progress updates on all aspects of safety management for the project.
• Leading of assessment of accidents, incidents and near-miss reporting including the evaluation of findings and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Monitoring and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems as appropriate.
• Establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive work permit system.
• Participation at project (HSE) meetings, training workshops, daily activity briefings and management reviews.

• Provide support in setting up an emergency response organization.
• Producing and implementing a Company Emergency Plan (legally required in the Netherlands) and, if applicable, including a Company Manual.
• Provide support in setting up the most important management systems such as:
  - ISO 9001 Quality management system
  - ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
  - OHSAS 18001 International Occupational H&S Management System
  - VCA Certification
• Support for registration of hazardous substances (PGS15)

Within your company or at the construction site

• Performing of regular site inspections including associated observation analysis and registration.
• Performing of audit processes with regard to safety, health and environment.
• Accident / incident investigation and analysis with the content: Leading of assessment of accidents, incidents and near-miss reporting including the evaluation of findings and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Producing and implementing a Company risk assessment (RI&E), mandatory according to Article 5 of the Dutch legislation.
• (Project) risk assessment & analysis with regard to occupational safety.

• Certified occupational safety professionals (MVK / IVK / OVK)
• In possession of a valid BHV and VCA VOL certificate.
